IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR OUR CUSTOMERS

Dear customers,

The health and safety of our employees and customers is a top priority at the Marin Household Hazardous Waste Facility. While sheltering-in-place, we will continue to serve Marin residential customers during our regular hours (Tuesday through Saturday from 8 AM to 3:30 PM). Residential customers do not need to schedule an appointment to drop-off hazardous unless a person has over the 15 gallons or 125 pounds limit.

Note: Novato residents, please contact the hazardous waste facility in your area at (415) 892-7344 or visit the Novato Sanitary District website since we do not accept waste generated by Novato residents.

For our business customers, we are only scheduling commercial appointments for those businesses authorized by the Reopening Status of the County of Marin.  An appointment is required before a business drop-offs commercial waste at the facility. Call us at (415) 456-2665 to schedule an appointment.

Customer Service

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not accepting walk-in customers at our office at this time. If you need to make a payment or have any immediate questions, please call us at (415) 456-2665 or (415) 458-5549. You can also fill out our contact form to submit your inquiries.

Our ability to answer calls may be hindered during this time, and we ask the following:

  • Please use our website as a place to get information about non-critical items. This will keep our phone lines available for critical needs.
  • Please be patient. We will respond to voicemails within 24 hours.

Thank you for your help and patience as we all adjust to this order.
