Businesses that generate up to 27 gallons or 220 lbs, or 1 kilogram of extremely hazardous waste per month are welcome to drop-off household hazardous waste at the facility. We will only accept waste that was generated in Marin County with the exception of Novato.
Affordable fees apply to each waste accepted plus a $25.00 processing fee is charge every time that a business uses the facility.
Please make sure to obtain a Hazardous Waste ID number (if you require one) before you contact us to schedule an appointment. You can get information about how to apply for a Hazardous Waste ID number by visiting the DTSC website.
You do not need a Hazardous Waste ID to drop-off electronic waste, household batteries, fluorescent bulbs or latex paint.
